New Product Name: 

 The product has been renamed to Alithya Rapid QA. This change comes with a standardization of colors and themes, providing a more consistent and modern user interface. Visual elements have been revised to improve readability and the overall aesthetics of the application.

New Dashboard 

Each user now has a completely redesigned dashboard. This dashboard offers detailed statistics on scenarios, providing valuable insights into test performance and results. 

Enhanced customization allows users to tailor the dashboard to their specific needs, giving them the ability to track the most relevant metrics for their role. 

This update introduces a complete overhaul of the dashboard, bringing numerous benefits, including: 

• New UI/UX: A redesigned interface for more intuitive and enjoyable navigation. 

• Customization and Flexibility: Increased customization options to adapt the dashboard to your specific needs. 

• Diversified Metrics and Categories: A wider selection of metrics and categories for more detailed and relevant tracking. 

• Improved Performance and Responsiveness: Optimized response times for a smooth and efficient user experience.

Update Impacts 

Manual Execution Results in Excel Format: 

• Excel results of manual/hybrid tests prior to June 12, 2024, will no longer be available. From version 4.0.0, the Excel file is generated at the time of execution, not on demand. 

•  From the new version (4.0.0), Excel results of manual/hybrid tests will be generated in the language of the user who initiated the execution. Thus, if the execution is launched by a user with Rapid QA configured in French, the Excel file will be generated in French. 

 Dashboard: 

• Data from the old dashboard will not be converted and will no longer be available after the update. 

• During the update, the new dashboard will be automatically populated with metrics from the Editing and Defects categories. Execution category metrics will remain empty and will be populated from your next executions. 

• An additional VM will be required for local installations to use the new dashboard. 

Improvements 

• Added the Dashboard API version in the About dialog. 

• Improved automatic execution log to better display requirements (JIRA). 

• Adjusted messages during Excel file import. 

• New validation when deleting a project: the user must enter the project name to proceed. 

Infrastructure Changes and Technology Update 

These improvements are crucial to maintaining the security, performance, and stability of our software. Rest assured, these updates will not impact your user experience. 

• Added the dashboard-api microservice. 

• Added the dashboard-data-ingestion microservice. 

• Added Docker images for Kafka and Elasticsearch. 

• Updated the fontawesome library to version 6.5.
