Health Check as First Step of Execution

From now on, test analysis and execution are separated. A comprehensive health check is now performed first during execution, allowing script errors to be spotted right from the start. For example, if a variable is no longer available, the execution will be promptly halted rather than waiting for its use in the script, which could take several minutes or even hours.

Introduction of Example Environment Availability

To facilitate scripting for our users, we have created an example environment. In this space, users will find simple examples to assist them in their tasks. We will regularly update this instance by adding new scripts based on the challenges encountered by our users. New Alithya GoTest Library: Script Runner

This library allows for the direct invocation of external scripts of types Robot Framework, Selenium IDE, Postman, and SoapUI from Alithya GoTest. After executing these scripts, a specific report is automatically generated, providing comprehensive details on the results to facilitate analysis and tracking. Addition of RPA.OpenAI Library of Robot Framework

This new feature enables users to leverage the artificial intelligence library of Robot Framework, providing access to OpenAI and Azure OpenAI. For detailed information, please refer to the complete documentation

Introduction of Internationalization Support

This feature offers the ability to automatically adjust date, currency, and language formats according to the country during test execution. This allows for effective adaptation of tests to different regions and simplifies the management of cultural aspects in test environments.

Optimization of System Component Performance

Enhancement of productivity and collaboration through optimization of System Components (Variables and Combined Keywords). This update ensures more efficient management and improved performance when loading and refreshing system components. Whether it's the number of components or the number of people collaborating on their editing, users experience no slowdowns. Additionally, this optimization has resulted in a 75% increase in speed and reduction in download time. It is now also possible to share direct links to system components, facilitating smooth collaboration and information sharing.

Improvements

• The system now allows renaming of the default tenant and modifying its description. This enhancement enables users to customize their interface according to their needs and preferences.

• To improve readability of Excel reports, a new column providing the list of tags associated with the test plan has been added.

• Improvement of on-premise installations:

  • File management update: Now, a single archive containing all necessary files will be available, simplifying the process.

  • New feature: On-premise installation now includes a prerequisite check to ensure smooth and error-free configuration.

• Enhancement of the Compare Files library to simplify the use of the result argument.

• List and Dictionary type variables now support line comments using the '#' character, allowing for better code documentation.

• Introduction of a license format including the instance name, improving customization and identification of licenses.

• Fixed an anomaly that could overwrite arguments in the Scripting section.

• Fixed an anomaly that could cause argument boxes to disappear in a combined keyword in certain situations.

• In the Audit Logs section, fixed an anomaly in the filters.

• In the project page of the editor, fixed an anomaly in the global filter.

• Fixed an issue with using the correct protocol in emails for account creation and password change (user management).

• In the combined keyword section, fixed checkbox functionality.
